Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy saving operation method of a cooling tower group and the cooling tower group used for the same, capable of materializing energy saving by appropriately controlling air quantity of a fan according to flow rate in each cooling tower and eliminating useless fan operation even if flow rate of cooling water circulating in each cooling tower constructing the cooling tower group differs, so called biased flow occurs. SOLUTION: In the energy saving operation method of the cooling tower group 1 using the cooling tower group 1 including cooling towers 2 provided with a fan 8 for cooling cooling water supplied to a refrigerator 5 and formed by lining a plurality of the cooling towers 2, rotation speed control of the fan 8 is executed for each cooling tower 2 based on flow rate measurement result of cooling water flowing in the cooling tower 2 or the cooling tower group 1. 【課題】 冷却塔群を構成する各冷却塔を流通する冷却水の流量に差が生じる、いわゆる偏流が生じても、各冷却塔においてそれぞれ流量に応じた適切なファンの風量を制御し、無駄なファンの運転をなくして省エネルギーを実現する冷却塔群の省エネルギー運転方法及びこれに用いる冷却塔群を提供する。 【解決手段】 冷凍機5に供給する冷却水を冷却するためのファン8を備えた冷却塔2を有し、当該冷却塔2を複数個並べて形成した冷却塔群1を用いた冷却塔群1の省エネルギー運転方法において、前記冷却塔2又は前記冷却塔群1に流入する冷却水の流量計測結果に基づいて前記ファン8の回転数制御を冷却塔2ごとに行う。 【選択図】 図1
