Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight constant velocity joint capable of dispensing with grease lubrication. SOLUTION: A trunnion member 11 is installed into an outer ring 1 having a hollow hole surrounded by six flat faces 2 being parallel with the axis, and three first spherical faces 12a coming into contact with the outer periphery of the trunnion member 11 at positions deviated on one side in the circumferential direction from a central position in the circumferential direction of the flat face 2 and three second spherical faces 12b coming into contact with the outer periphery of it at positions deviated on the other side from the central position are alternately formed in the peripheral direction. Each of the outer ring 1 and the trunnion member 11 is formed as a molded product made of synthetic resin to dispense with grease lubrication and reduce weight of the constant velocity joint. Base resin of synthetic resin for molding the outer ring is different from base resin of synthetic resin for molding the trunnion member to prevent adhesion of the outer ring 1 and the trunnion member 11 in a slide-contact part and suppress reduction of constant velocity property due to wear. 【課題】グリース潤滑を不要とすることができる軽量の等速ジョイントを提供することである。 【解決手段】軸線に平行な6つの平坦面2で囲まれた中空穴を有する外輪1内にトラニオン部材11を組込み、そのトラニオン部材11の外周に上記平坦面2の円周方向中央位置から円周方向の一方にずれた位置で接触する3つの第1球面12aと上記中央位置から他方にずれた位置で接触する3つの第2球面12bとを周方向に交互に形成する。外輪1とトラニオン部材11のそれぞれを合成樹脂の成形品としてグリース潤滑を不要とし、等速ジョイントの軽量化を図る。また、外輪成形用の合成樹脂とトラニオン部材成形用の合成樹脂のベース樹脂を相違させて、外輪1とトラニオン部材11の摺接部の凝着を防止し、摩耗による等速性の低下を抑制する。 【選択図】図1
