Abstract

【課題】 カムとカムにて駆動される被駆動対象との接触部への余分な潤滑油の供給を制限して潤滑の効率を高めることが可能な内燃機関の潤滑装置を提供する。 【解決手段】 本発明の潤滑装置は、内燃機関1のカム6とロッカーアーム5との接触部Cに潤滑油を供給する内燃機関の潤滑装置であって、潤滑油を圧送するオイルポンプ9と、接触部に潤滑油を供給するカムシャワー部12と、オイルポンプ9とカムシャワー部12とを結ぶ潤滑油供給通路13と、潤滑油供給通路13に設けられ、接触部Cへの潤滑油の供給及びその停止を切り替える遮断弁15と、内燃機関1の始動に合わせて接触部Cへの潤滑油の供給が開始され、その後、内燃機関1の運転中に接触部Cへの潤滑油の供給が停止されるように、遮断弁15の動作を制御する潤滑油供給制御手段18と、を具備する。 【選択図】 図1
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating device for an internal combustion engine capable of improving lubrication efficiency by limiting supply of extra lubricating oil to a contact part between a cam and a driven object driven by the cam. SOLUTION: The lubricating device of the invention is the lubricating device for the internal combustion engine for supplying lubricating oil to the contact part C between the cam 6 and a rocker arm 5 of the internal combustion engine 1. The device comprises an oil pump 9 for sending the lubricating oil by pressure, a cam shower part 12 for supplying the lubricating oil to the contact part, a lubricating oil supplying passage 13 for connecting the oil pump 9 and the cam shower part 12, a shut-off valve 15 provided at the lubricating oil supplying passage 13 for switching the supply of the lubricating oil to the contact part C and stopping the supply, and a lubricating oil supply control means 18 for controlling operation of the shut-off valve 15 so as to start supplying the lubricating oil to the contact part C at the time of starting the internal combustion engine 1 and then to stop supplying the lubricating oil to the contact part C during the operation of the internal combustion engine 1.
